Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain:
    • Bathrooms and restrooms
    • Floors and carpets
    • Glass, windows, and doors
    • Common hallways and corridors
    • Elevators and stairways
    • Parking lots and exterior areas
  • Remove trash and debris throughout the property
  • Perform general janitorial and custodial duties to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
  • Monitor and report maintenance, repair, or safety concerns to management promptly
  • Assist with groundskeeping, landscaping, and seasonal property upkeep
  • Perform snow and ice removal as needed
  • Ensure vacant units and common areas are clean, stocked, and move-in ready
  • Maintain exterior curb appeal and overall property appearance standards
  • Safely operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor scrubbers, blowers, and pressure washers
  • Follow company safety policies and proper chemical handling procedures
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
  • Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and minor repairs
  • Respond to urgent cleaning requests, spills, or weather-related cleanup needs
  • Use cleaning tools, equipment, and materials safely and effectively
  • Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Previous janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Reliable attendance, punctuality, and dependable transportation
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures preferred
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb stairs, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods of time

Schedule: Monday – Saturday (Flexible on Saturdays)

Shift Availability: Start time between 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Shift Length: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
